Occasionally, phishing attempts work by giving up valuable information such as passwords to your Microsoft license. The first thing you need to do in this situation is email support from your personal account or give us a call at the office. We will act quickly by signing you out of all instances, blocking sign-in, and resetting your password.
If you end up with a repeat offense, then it's likely an outside email account that's been hacked. For example, if you were hacked and followed the appropriate steps but they still got in at a later date, it's likely a third party account like gmail or iCloud that was hacked first and they are able to retrieve your passwords as you continue to save them. DON'T FORGET TO CHANGE ALL EMAIL AND BANK ACCOUNT PASSWORD INFORMATION IF YOU EXPERIENCE AN EMAIL HACK.
