🗂️ Cleaner, Faster Opportunity Cards
We've rebuilt the opportunity card so the information you and your installers need is quicker to find and easier to fill in, on desktop and on the mobile app. Long lists of one-off fields have been combined into a few clear fields, and each tab now has one job.
Card tabs, top to bottom:
- Opportunity Details
- Order Details
- Install Details
- Post Sale
📦 Order Details
Everything about the order now lives in one place.
- Order Date
- PO #
- Sidemark
- Suppliers (28 vendors, now including the Canada lines)
- Order Summary | One line per vendor order: Vendor | Order # | PO | Sidemark | Order Date | ETA | Shipped | Cost. Replaces Order #1 to #5, ETA and If Other.
- Shipments | One line per shipment with ship date, carrier and tracking, so tracking stays out of notes.
- Approx Installation Time | Now a dropdown (30 Minutes up to Two Days) for consistent scheduling.
- Additional Installers | Two, Three or Four Person Job, set when ordering.
- Ordering Notes
- Total Cost
- Order Documents
Old cards had 75+ fillable fields! We've reduced that number drastically!
🔧 Install Details
An installer-first tab with a short list.
- Ship To | Office, Warehouse, Customer Home, Installer, Partner or Other.
- Sales Rep | Filled in automatically from the opportunity owner, so printed job sheets show who to call.
- Products to Install | One line per product (for example "Roller/Solar: 6 (2 motorized)"). Replaces 15 product-count fields.
- Install Notes | One notes box for installers. Replaces Special Instructions, Customer Requests and Shipping.
- Take-Downs / Removal
- Job Requirements | One row of checkboxes: Electrical, Automation/Hub, Split Install, Filling Holes, Remove Trim, Take Downs, Haul-Away, Caulking. Replaces six Yes/No fields.
- Ladder Size
- Mounting Surface
- Installation Photos | Documents
- Create Job Sheet Link and Job Sheet Link | Tick the box to create a shareable job sheet link for third-party installers.
✅ Post Sale
Close-out information for installers and the office.
- Balance Due After Installation
- Referral Partner Commission | Track what you owe a designer or builder partner.
- Job Status | Completed or Incomplete, set by the installer.
- Incomplete Reason | Missing Part, Wrong Size, Damaged, Customer Not Home, Needs Return Trip or Other.
- Send Review
- Job Recap | Replaces Final Notes.
- Completion Documents | Replaces Final Photos | Documents.
🚦 Pipeline Updates
Two stage names were updated to be clearer:
- 1. Pre-Sale | "Quote Sent" is now "Quoted"
- 3. Receiving | Scheduling | "Scheduled" is now "Install Scheduled"
⚙️ New & Updated Automations
- Auto Sync Contacts to Opportunities | Fills the job address and ZIP from the contact when the job address is empty. It never overwrites an install address that's already on the card.
- Job Status | When the installer sets Job Status, the card moves to Install Completed or Action Needed.
- Sales Rep from Owner | Fills Sales Rep from the opportunity owner.
- Auto Sync Contact Owners | Keeps the contact owner and opportunity owner in step.
- Gate Code Sync | Copies the gate code from the opportunity to the contact.
- Split Installation Tag | Adds or removes the split installation tag based on Job Requirements.
- Installer Following on Booking | Adds installers as followers when an install is booked, so they can see the customer and card.
🤝 Designer & Builder Partners
Partners such as designers and builders now have their own structure, so the office always knows who to bill.
- Each partner business gets a Company record.
- Partner clients get a partner tag (for example partner-twin-sisters). Each tag carries that partner's billing rule.
- The partner's own staff get the referral partner tag and are added to the job as an additional contact.
- The job address is always the install site, and the contact address is the billing address.
🔜 Coming Soon
- Job sheet link added to install appointments automatically
- Partner billing automations
- Customer text and email automations will be turned on once the phone number port is complete.
