Step-by-Step: How to Use the Tracker
Download the Correct Template for Your Region:
π U.S. Version (ZIP codes):
Download the U.S. Tracker Template
π Canada Version (Postal codes):
Download the Canada Tracker Template
Follow the steps below:
β Step 1: Open the Tracker Template
Click the link provided by the Home Office to open the Excel file. This file is a master template.
β Step 2: Create Your Own Copy
This ensures youβre not editing the master file and that all formulas, monthly tabs, and summary dashboards remain intact.
If you're using Excel on your computer:

Click File > Save As

Choose your location (e.g., Desktop or Documents)

Rename the file to something personal like:
LeadTracker_YourCity_2025.xlsx -
Click Save
If you're using Excel Online:

Click File > Create a Copy > Download a Copy

Open the downloaded file and rename it as above
We recommend in storing your lead tracker in your "team" inside the Microsoft teams app under Your Team > Accounting (so it is not sharable with anyone outside of the owners) > Files
β Step 3: Begin Using Your Tracker

Use the pre-made tabs labeled January β December

Enter each lead on a new row for the corresponding month

The Summary tab will automatically update with totals, averages, margins, and graphs

Change column names, tab names, or delete any formulas

Type in greyed-out or pre-filled formula columns
β Only enter data in the white input fields (customer info, revenue, lead source, etc.). All totals, closing rates, and graphs will update automatically β no need to modify the math!
