Podium is a communications platform and lead-generation tool. One of its many features is that it makes it easier to request Google reviews. Obtaining 5-star reviews is a key part of any successful Made in the Shade franchise, because getting more reviews leads to improvement in SEO through your Google Business Profile and organic rank (i.e. online presence).
We analyzed locations that tried our 6-month free trial compared to locations that did not. Below are the results. A location had to be established before 2023 to be included in the analysis.
In 2023, the locations that did not use Podium received an average of 18 reviews per year. In 2024, they averaged about the same, 17 reviews per year.
The locations that DID use Podium were averaging 12 reviews in 2023 and are now averaging 28 reviews per year, more than double at an increase of +129%.
