How do I change the batteries on my Motorized Somfy Shade?

In this article, we will look at replacement of the AA Lithium batteries for a motorized shade with a Somfy motor. 

Please note that many of the newer motors are rechargeable and will require a completely different charging cable and different steps to power the shade again.
